ASF AGM 2021 - Asian Squash Federation appointments for Singapore Squash

The Asian Squash Federation (ASF) held their Annual General Meeting virtually on 4 September 2021.  With the newly elected board, helmed by re-elected President Mr David Mui, MH JP, the sub-committees have been reviewed. Singapore Squash is proud to announce the appointments of three of our own officials.

Head Coach joins the Coaching committee

Our Head Coach Yap Kok Four, makes his debut on this ASF committee as one of the members in the Coaching committee. The committee is chaired by Macau-China’s William Kuan and in the director’s seat is famed Hong Kong’s ex-head coach Tony Choi.

Reappointments for Raymond and Mohamad

Singapore Squash Rackets Association (SSRA) Management Committee members Raymond Tan and Mohamad Abdullah Arrffan, who were both part of the sub-committees in the previous administration, were both reappointed in their respective sub-committees.

Raymond, our Secretary serves another term on the Championship committee headed by Korea’s Kim Won-Kwan. Mohamad, our Committee Member, serves another term on the Referee committee led by Hong Kong China’s Cedric Tyen.

When announcing the appointments, Mr David Mui, MH JP said, “I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the service and contribution of the outgoing sub-committee members.  Their invaluable input and support allowed squash in the region to develop and grow in a healthy way. It’s my pleasure to thank those members who continue to serve at the committees and also to welcome the new comers. I believe the committee will benefit from their knowledge and experiences.”

We wish Kok Four, Raymond and Mohamad all the best and our heartiest congratulations for their respective ASF roles.
