7th SICC/MARIGOLD International Jumbo Doubles Squash Tournament
“Warmest greetings from The Singapore Island Country Club!
The Tennis & Squash Committee is pleased to invite you and your Club to participate in the 7th SICC/MARIGOLD International Jumbo Doubles Squash Tournament. This is the seventh year that The Singapore Island Country Club is holding this event. The event is scheduled on 6th to 13th August 2017.
Please be informed that there shall be an “Open Category” and a “Veterans Category”. Please kindly note the format of play from the attached entry form. Essentially, we hope to give more matches to all participants and has adopted a format for the “Open Category” where there shall be group matches from 6th to 10th August for local pairings. Foreign pairings shall play their group matches on 11th August. Participants are expected to play a minimum of 3 matches in the group stages. Do also note that participants will only play on one of the 5 proposed dates and are not expected to play on all 5 dates. Matches in the last-16 of the main draw shall commence from 11th August 2017.
Please note that the age of participants for the “Veterans Category” is 50 years old as at 6th August 2017. Participants in this category are expected to start their matches from 11th August 2017.
We would like to seek your support in making the forthcoming 7th SICC/MARIGOLD International Jumbo Doubles Squash Tournament a success. Please do try to participate in the tournament.
You may also help us promote the tournament by circulating this email to other players whom you think may be interested to participate.
No entry fee is payable and players will have free entry to the welcome dinner and farewell lunch.
We hope to receive your entries soon as the closing date is 6th July 2017. Please send your entries as early as possible so that the organizing committee can review the number of entries or should a change to the tournament format be necessary.
